The AGM Sidewinder Thermal Monocular series is the newest addition to what is already the most extensive thermal product assortment in the world! The Sidewinder TM50-640 combines the largest germanium lens in the product family (50mm) with a 640x512, 12 micron, sub-20mK thermal detector, which work in conjunction to provide users with an eye-popping 2600 yard detection range. The Sidewinder also brings many new advancements to the product category which users have been clamoring for. This handheld monocular comes equipped with the most sensitive thermal sensor on the market, providing users with a stunning advancement in image clarity and background detail. Also, this unit utilizes a removable, non-proprietary 18650 rechargeable battery which powers the unit by offering up to 5 hours of operating time, built-in to a new robust rubber armored housing for added durability and protection.
The Sidewinder also comes packed with numerous software improvements, and many features that have become commonplace within the AGM thermal product assortment: 50Hz refresh rate, 64GB of built-in memory (highest in its class), Wi-Fi compatibility to pair with the AGM Connect App, an IP67 waterproof rating, F0.9 aperture, USB Type-C port for external power capabilities, 4 color palettes and an industry-leading 5 Year Transferable Warranty. FIRMWARE UPDATE INSTRUCTION
Please read the instructions below before updating the firmware.
Check current firmware version of your device, for this go to your device’s main menu to option “Info” or “Version” and check what number you have. Compare the number with the latest version of the firmware on the AGM website.
Download the firmware update package to your PC and unzip it.
NOTE: Do not open the DAV or BIN file on your computer as it may corrupt the file.
WARNING:
If your device does not have a built-in rechargeable battery and is powered by replaceable Lithium batteries, remove the batteries from the battery compartment before connecting the device to your PC, or it may cause computer damage.
If you removed the batteries, please make sure the device is connected to the computer during the update process. Otherwise, the device will shut off and may cause unnecessary upgrade failure, firmware damage, etc.
